A bank weighing how to connect its corporate clients’ systems has several options — SFTP and managed file transfer, IBM MQ, SWIFT, APIs, EBICS and AS2. Each is costly to build, integrate and support, and each exposes only part of what the bank does. Meanwhile the cash-management website is already integrated with information reporting, wires, ACH, positive pay, lockbox and more — but it was designed for a person, so corporate systems cannot use it unattended.
